Representatives of the UN Human Rights Mission in Ukraine have visited about 30 settlements located near the delimitation line in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic since the beginning of the year, according to Andrey Kolomiytsev, the Chief Administrator of the DPR Ombudsman’s Office in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The staff of the OSCE and the Joint Centre for Control and Co-ordination (JCCC) documented the consequences of shelling of Donetsk, say DPR officials. “Since the beginning of 2017, representatives of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, in particular the Donetsk Office, have been monitoring the observation of human rights in settlements located near the delimitation line. They visited about 30 settlements of the DPR,” he said.
