On 12 December, staff of DPR Ombudsman Office held an on-site reception of citizens at the City Administration of Khartsysk.
The reception was conducted together with representatives of the Department of Labour and Social Welfare, Office of the Pension Fund and the City Administration.
5 citizens of Khartsysk asked for Ombudsman’s advice and assistance in restoring their rights. They raised issues of the city utilities, appealing a court decision, the inaction of the state enforcement officer to enforce the decision on the recovery of wage arrears, searching for a missing person.
Citizens that attended the reception were given advice and clarification of the norms of the current legislation. As regards issues demanding further consideration, written appeals were accepted for further review by the DPR Ombudsman with its competence.
