On 31 July, staff of DPR Ombudsman Office held an on-site reception of citizens at the City Administration of Amvrosievka region.
At the on-site reception, a question was raised concerning the removal of trees that might be dangerous to pedestrians crossing the curtilage. To resolve this issue the citizen was recommended to file a respective appeal with the Head of Administration.
Also, another citizen asked about the procedure of issuing a passport of a DPR citizen. It was established that the applicant didn’t have any legal grounds to obtain this document, as provided for in the Regulation on a passport of a DPR citizen, according to the Decree of the DPR Head as of 23 March 2019, No. 77. Accordingly, representatives of the Ombudsman provided clarification on the right of the applicant to appeal to the territorial office if the Migration Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Donetsk People’s Republic to obtain a permanent residence certificate in the DPR, according to the temporary regulation, approved by the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Donetsk People’s Republic as of 27 March 2019 No. 271.
