The persons transferred today by Kiev during the exchange of prisoners will undergo a two-week observation in the DPR due to the threat of the spread of COVID-19. This was reported by the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Republic Daria Morozova.
“Everyone who was exchanged will be quarantined for 14 days. After that, those who do not have housing in the DPR, it will be provided in a long-term residence center”, – the Ombudsman noted.
The citizens liberated from the Ukrainian captivity will also be provided with food, personal hygiene items and material assistance.

The first prisoner exchange in 2020 between the DPR and Ukraine took place today in the neutral zone near Gorlovka. Kiev released 10 people, Donetsk handed over nine persons. Initially, the Ukrainian side included 11 people on the list, but one of them refused to participate in the exchange.
