It is important to analyse complaints that are lodged with the Ombudsman Office in order to evaluate the level of protection of human rights.
In the period of work between 17 and 23 March 2018, 8 citizens visited the Ombudsman in person, 67 persons received counselling by the Appeals Department, 12 citizens received counselling by the Working Group on Issues of Temporary Displaced Persons, and 23 persons received legal counselling. Also, 14 written appeals were taken into consideration, 13 – have been reviewed among those received earlier. 30 calls were received via hotlines, 18 applications were received via e-mail.
In total, the Ombudsman Office received 1441 appeals since the beginning of 2018.
