On 14 August, representatives of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic distributed humanitarian aid to residents of two social housing objects located in Donetsk. 453 humanitarian aid packages have been handed over. They included food, personal hygiene products and household chemicals.
In total, during this month it is planned to distribute about 1800 humanitarian aid packages to persons residing in social housing objects that operate in the Republic. The beneficiaries of the humanitarian assistance are citizens who suffered from injuries or material damage as a result of hostilities, as well as people persecuted by other states for supporting the Donetsk People’s Republic and physically challenged persons.
The humanitarian assistance is provided as part of cooperation of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
